Role: Communication Skills Facilitator

Type: Independent Contractor (variable hours)
This is a flexible, part-time opportunity. Workload and hours vary based on client demand and your availability, making this role ideal as a complementary income stream.
Location:Cape Town and/or Johannesburg (near major business centres)
Candidates based elsewhere may be considered for virtual training opportunities.
About the Role
As a Communication Skills Facilitator, you will play a key role in guiding individuals and groups to develop greater confidence, clarity, and effectiveness in their communication. You will facilitate engaging, practical training sessions and support clients in achieving measurable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate Confident Communicator training programmes:
- One-on-one and group sessions
- Virtual and in-person delivery
Support clients’ development by:
- Tracking progress and identifying growth areas
- Maintaining accurate and detailed records
- Assess progress and compile professional reports
- Provide ongoing feedback to the Director
- Participate in relevant meetings and complete associated administration

A 3-year Degree or Diploma relevant to the following course content:

Required Qualification
Alternatively:
Experience
At least 2 years’ teaching or training experience in one or more of the following:
- High school (Grade 10 and above)
- University
- Adult or corporate training environments
A minimum of 1 year of experience in a corporate or professional environment requiring regular, high-level workplace communication relevant to the courses you facilitate
Resources

- Reliable transport
- A laptop
- Fast, stable internet suitable for video conferencing
Advantages
- Tertiary qualification in Education (high school or higher education level)
- Ability to facilitate multiple Confident Communicator courses
- Additional relevant qualifications or experience
